Carlson Construction Group is seeking a Logistics Manager to join our team in North Vancouver
. This is a dynamic opportunity to lead logistics operations that directly impact the success of high-profile construction projects—including marine terminals, bridge foundations, and coastal infrastructure developments across BC.

  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee procurement planning, material tracking, and delivery schedules aligned with project timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Superintendents, and Estimators to forecast material needs and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Implement and optimize digital logistics platforms (e.g., ERP systems, inventory management software).
  • Monitor and report on logistics KPIs including delivery performance, cost control, and inventory turnover.
  • Lead initiatives for sustainable sourcing, waste reduction, and environmentally responsible logistics practices.
  • Manage transportation logistics including fleet coordination, route optimization, and safety compliance.
  • Resolve supply chain disruptions proactively, including expediting orders and managing emergency procurement.
  • 5–8 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or procurement within the construction or industrial sector.
  • Post‐secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as PMAC, CPP, SCMP, or APICS (CPIM/CSCP) are strong assets.
  • Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., Acumatica) and logistics software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of construction project workflows and material requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
  • Ability to work in fast‑paced environments, including remote or active construction sites.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel or work flexible hours as needed.
  • High integrity and commitment to ethical sourcing and business practices.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
  • Tech‑savvy and comfortable adopting new digital tools and platforms.
  • Collaborative and communicative, with a focus on cross‑functional teamwork.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Resilient and adaptable in dynamic, high‑pressure environments.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
