ICBC
’s Talent Programs department is seeking a dynamic Talent Management Specialist to join their team. This role is integral to developing, delivering, and evaluating organizational development programs that align with ICBC’s strategic priorities. As a key member of the Talent Management team, which encompasses Leadership Development, Performance Management, and Succession Planning & Career Management, the successful candidate will contribute to the conception, management, delivery, and evaluation of various talent management initiatives.

Reporting to the Manager of Talent Management, the Talent Management Specialist is an experienced professional poised to make a significant impact on the organization. Hours of Work: 7.5 hours per day - 5 day week (M-F)

Position Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience designing and implementing Talent Management plans within a large, complex environment while leading multiple, concurrent initiatives using strong project management practices, including planning, prioritization, and on-time delivery.
  • Demonstrated skill facilitating talent programs with employees, leaders and senior leaders, ensuring objective, inclusive, and outcomes-focused conversations.
  • Demonstrated experience applying change management principles to support the adoption of talent management programs, including stakeholder analysis, communication planning, and the development of clear, targeted leader and employee communications and toolkits
  • Strong analytical capability to define success measures, track adoption and outcomes, and leverage HR data, metrics, and dashboards to translate talent insights into actionable recommendations and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team-based environment, building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and partners, and effectively giving and receiving feedback at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline is encouraged (i.e. Human Resources, Leadership and Management, Business Administration, Organizational Behaviour, etc.)
