Physiotherapist - Hand Program at Vancouver Coastal Health (North Vancouver, BC)
Salary: CAD $42.56 – $52.95 per hour.
Provide physiotherapy care to clients in the Hand Program in accordance with established departmental standards and Hospital policy.
Responsibilities- Provide physiotherapy care to clients in the Hand Program in accordance with established departmental standards and Hospital policy.
- Assess and interpret assessment findings.
- Implement and evaluate a treatment program.
- Maintain records for each patient treated.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy.
- Current full registration as a Physiotherapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
- Eligible for membership in the Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia (PABC).
- Certification in Hand Therapy and ≥5 years of clinical practice with at least 2000 hours of Hand Therapy (or equivalent).
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Ability to deal effectively with emergent situations and exercise reasonable judgement when dealing with patients, families and staff.
- Ability to organize workload.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
