COWI is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our collaborative team in North Vancouver, BC. In this role, you will closely collaborate and support a professional team that provides technical expertise, design leadership, project management and specialized engineering expertise on numerous infrastructure projects.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Assist in project planning, monitoring, and forecasting, including resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Support project change, and risk management, and ensures compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Facilitate meetings, prepares agendas, and manages documentation.
- Monitor the financial progress of the project, oversee earned value calculations, and examine reporting data.
- Track project financial performance, manage earned value and analyses reports.
- Assist in subcontractor management, invoicing, and contract preparation.

On top of that, you will:
- Completed post-secondary education in engineering, business, project management, construction management, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in project coordination/management, project controls, commercial contracts, or financial roles, preferably in construction or engineering.
- Proficiency in project management fundamentals, including earned value analysis, work breakdown structure, and project management plan development.
- Comprehensive planning and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines when managing tight schedules.
- Proficient in written and verbal interpersonal communication, with demonstrated capability in Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Solid decision-making and problem-solving abilities, ability to adjust to shifting priorities, and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Based on expected project assignments, fluency in Spanish is considered a strong asset
