One of Stellar’s major engineering clients is searching for multiple Structural Engineers (junior, intermediate and senior) for contract opportunities in the Lower Mainland. As part of a collaborative team, the successful applicants will play a pivotal role in executing systems designs, ensuring their seamless integration into ship models, and supporting the successful delivery of high‑quality maritime projects. • Manage the prequalification and selection process of bidders for relevant systems and materials
• Execute assigned systems designs in compliance with budget and schedule specifications, ensuring all system data is current and accurate
• Validate full and functional integration of systems into the ship model, ensuring spatial compatibility and optimal functionality
• Define materials for assigned systems and maintain a configuration baseline through functional and production stages
• Coordinate with suppliers to approve and integrate technical and commercial information, supporting detailed design and timely deliveries
• Provide support for planning, production, and installation, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure the design is completed on schedule and to required specifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Naval Architecture;
  Master’s degree is desirable
• Engineer in Training (EIT) designation from a recognized, accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of progressively senior experience in engineering, preferably with exposure to ship/maritime systems or a similar field
• Familiarity with CADMATIC, Ship Constructor, AutoCAD, document control systems, and databases
• Understanding of CSA BTH-1 and S16 standards is considered an asset
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multi‑disciplinary team
