Engineer I, Grad Rotation Program – Seaspan ULC

Propel your career with Seaspan Shipyards. We are recruiting four engineering graduates to join our Graduate Rotation Program beginning September 2026. In this two‑year program you will gain meaningful work experience, mentorship and targeted training across multiple business areas within the company, working in a diverse and collaborative environment.

• Recently completed (within 2 years) an undergraduate or graduate degree in Naval Architecture, Marine, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or other relevant engineering discipline. Graduation date must be by August 31, 2026.
• Registered or eligible to register as an Engineer‑In‑Training with EGBC.
• Strong academic and extracurricular performance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experienced with computer‑aided drawing/modeling tools.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while managing multiple priorities and timelines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills – written, verbal, listening and presentation.
• Strong research, problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic and high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to take initiative, ownership and drive tasks to completion.

Participants rotate through the following discipline areas within our Vancouver Shipyard operations:

• Engineering
• Program Management
• Planning and Estimating
• Production Support

Each rotation lasts 3–6 months, providing training and development while contributing to state‑of‑the‑art ship‑building projects. At the end of the program you will be offered a permanent position based on availability, suitability and performance.
