Overview
Reports to: Senior Manager, ReBIRD RESALE Program
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, between in-office and home
Pay Range: $44,700 - $55,100; pay is determined by factors such as program of study, year of study, job-related skills, and relevant experience.
Duration: Four (4) months, May 4, 2025 – August 21, 2026
Location: North Vancouver, BC
Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week, M-F

Recommerce, short for “reverse commerce”, is revolutionizing retail by giving products a second life. Instead of ending up in landfills, items are resold, reused, and re-loved, creating a more sustainable and affordable shopping experience. It’s a fast-growing industry at the heart of the circular economy, helping brands reduce waste, meet sustainability goals, and connect with consumers.
Responsibilities- Collaborating on projects related to marketing optimization, operations, insights and data reporting, and customer experience
- Reviewing creative assets to ensure compelling guest-facing messaging
- Supporting with process efficiencies and executing optimizations
- Supporting with data reporting and gathering existing insights
- Hosting digital or in-person meetings for cross-functional team collaboration
- Preparing detailed meeting notes, agendas, and maintaining organized project records
- You’ll have a strong understanding of the commercial framework required to run a business, including marketing, sales, insights & reporting, customer experience, and operations
- You’ll develop project management, organizational, analytical, and communication skills from industry experts
- You are studying in an accredited university in your 3rd or 4th year, working toward a Bachelor's degree with some retail experience
- You have a dedicated interest in recommerce, circularity, and sustainability
- You have experience multitasking many projects at once, with a diverse range of responsibilities, and can adapt to changing priorities
- You are proactive in identifying root causes of issues and developing solutions
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You have strong communication skills and can distill complex information into actionable insights
- You balance autonomy and collaboration
- You have strong computer skills (especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint)
- You are able and willing to travel (domestically and internationally)
- Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
