Class 1 Tramper Driver – Preferred Title

We are looking for Class 1 Tramper Drivers for temporary‑to‑permanent positions based in Newcastle. The role involves general haulage work on a 4‑on/4‑off shift pattern, with overtime available.

Whats On Offer

£15.13 p/h Monday‑Friday, £15.69 Saturday, £16.81 Sunday (PAYE)
£25 night‑out allowance
Weekly pay
Regular ongoing work
Permanent position after 10 weeks (subject to performance)
Modern, well‑maintained vehicles
Monday‑to‑Friday work (occasional weekends may be available)

What you’ll be doing

Nationwide trunking and multi‑drop deliveries
Curtainsider work (strapping required)
Tramping role 2 nights out per week

We're looking for a Class 1 Tramper Driver with

Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
Minimum 1 year Class 1 experience (for insurance purposes)
Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tacho card
Curtainsider experience essential
Good understanding of drivers’ hours and WTD
