Key Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies for the European market, aligning with the overall Business Unit strategy.
- Provide internal communication support to sales teams in Asia, India, and the Middle East, enhancing their ability to achieve regional sales targets.
- Lead the European sales team, including regional sales managers, key account managers, inside technical sales resources, and business development managers—hiring, training, performance coaching, and management.
- Support and develop a direct customer base in Europe while nurturing and expanding the channel partner network.
- Maintain overall sales accountability for the business in Europe (Process Business Unit) and support other geographies.
- Develop and implement Business Processes globally aligned to support Business Unit goals.
- Conduct regular reviews with the European sales team and business unit team to measure progress, develop the sales funnel, and identify attractive business opportunities.
- Maintain high level communication with internal company and group resources to support overall business development.
- Lead geography, market, and expansion initiatives, coordinating with other departments to achieve business goals.
- Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing between the European team and teams in Asia and India, promoting best practices and leveraging regional expertise.
- Support the VP / GM Process Business Unit in strategic planning and decision‑making related to global sales initiatives.
- Achievement of sales and profit targets for the European market.
- Effective support and enablement of sales teams in Asia, India, and the Middle East.
- Development and implementation of successful sales strategies and business processes.
- Enhanced collaboration and knowledge sharing across regions.
- Support role on the expansion into new markets and geographies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of sales professionals.
- Proven experience in fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across multiple regions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to influence and guide autonomous teams, providing strategic support without direct management.
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s degree preferred. - 5+ years of related sales or management experience in the manufacturing / industrial sector.
- Experience managing diverse, distributed teams across Europe (multiple regions a plus).
- Proven track record of driving consistent sales and profit growth.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, knowledge of CRM systems and ERP systems—Salesforce, D365, and Power BI skills are preferred.
- Experience in B2B revenue development through successful prospecting and account development (direct sales and channel partner experience is beneficial).
- Experience in capital project sales through EPC firms is beneficial.
- Experience in making presentations and undertaking public speaking with skill and confidence.
