The Design & Technology department is well‑equipped and structured, with clear schemes of work across KS3 and KS4. There is a strong emphasis on technical vocabulary, precision and practical skill development.
You will be joining a team that:

- Upholds high expectations around effort and presentation
Specialisms in Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering or Food Technology are welcome.
The RoleAs a Design & Technology Teacher, you will:
- Deliver practical and theory lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Manage workshop environments safely and confidently
- Prepare students for GCSE coursework and exams
- Differentiate for mixed‑ability groups
- Maintain strong behaviour management
- Contribute to departmental planning and moderation
This is a full teaching role with responsibility for planning, marking and assessment.
