£163 – £252.52 per day (MPS/UPS Equivalent, PAYE) | Full‑Time | Immediate Start
The PE department is active, organised and ambitious for both participation and performance. Lessons are structured, equipment is managed effectively and there is a strong culture of teamwork within the faculty.
You will be joining a department that:
- Delivers a broad and balanced KS3 and KS4 curriculum
- Prepares students for GCSE PE (where applicable)
- Promotes competitive sport and enrichment
- Maintains high expectations for kit, conduct and effort
- Encourages whole‑school participation in sport
There may also be opportunities to contribute to extracurricular clubs and fixtures.
The RoleAs a PE Teacher, you will:
- Deliver structured practical lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Maintain high expectations around behaviour and participation
- Plan and assess effectively in line with departmental systems
- Support GCSE cohorts where required
- Promote teamwork, resilience and discipline
- Contribute to enrichment and extracurricular provision
You must be confident managing large groups in practical settings while maintaining safety and control.
