SEN Teaching Assistant

The school prioritises keeping students in mainstream education wherever possible, with structured, targeted support.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support students with EHCPs and additional learning needs

• Work 1:1 and in small intervention groups

• Adapt resources to make learning accessible

• Support students with SEMH, ASD, ADHD or communication needs

• Help pupils regulate emotions and maintain focus in lessons

• Liaise with teaching staff and SENCO to monitor progress

This is not passive support — you will be actively involved in strategies, planning discussions and student reviews.

• Experienced secondary SEN TAs

• Graduates considering educational psychology or teacher training

• Individuals with experience supporting SEMH or neurodiverse learners

• £95 – £115 per day depending on experience
