The MFL department is collaborative and well-resourced, with shared schemes of work and clear assessment systems across KS3 and KS4.

You will be joining a team that:

• Delivers structured lessons with clear modelling

• Focuses on retrieval practice and vocabulary retention

• Prepares GCSE cohorts effectively for speaking and writing exams

• Maintains consistent expectations around participation

• Tracks progress closely and intervenes early

Specialisms in French or Spanish are particularly welcome, though other language specialisms will be considered.

As an MFL Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging language lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Develop students’ confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing

• Prepare students thoroughly for GCSE examinations

• Differentiate effectively for mixed-ability classes

• Maintain strong classroom behaviour

• Contribute to departmental planning and data tracking

This is a full teaching role including planning, marking and assessment responsibilities.
