We are working with a rapidly improving and highly ambitious secondary school in North Tyneside to recruit a Learning Support Assistant. This is an opportunity to join a school that has undergone significant transformation and is now recognised for its strong leadership, inclusive culture and high expectations for every pupil.
You will support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, working 1:1 and in small groups to remove barriers to learning and help pupils develop both academically and personally.

£90 – £110 per day | PAYE | Depending on experience

Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with additional needs
- Support engagement, behaviour and emotional regulation
- Work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral staff
- Track and celebrate student progress

- Experience working with young people (education, youth work, care or similar)
- Calm, resilient and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills

- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
