We are seeking a passionate and innovative Teacher of Computing to join a secondary school in North Tyneside that is focused on improvement, high expectations, and preparing students for the digital world. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging Computing lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential GCSE teaching responsibilities.

The successful candidate will inspire students to develop practical and theoretical knowledge, including programming, algorithms, data representation, and computational thinking. There is also scope to contribute to digital enrichment activities and technology clubs, giving students opportunities to explore real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality Computing lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Teach programming, algorithms, data representation, and theory topics
  • Prepare students effectively for GCSE assessments
  • Track and assess student progress and provide intervention where needed
  • Contribute to departmental planning and extracurricular digital projects

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
