We are seeking a highly skilled Administration Assistant to join The HIVE Team at the North Tyneside Council. The role involves supporting the team of therapeutic practitioners who provide counselling and occupational health to young people, as well as the Virtual School.
Location:
Riverside Family Hub, North Shields. The successful candidate will work as part of a busy administrative team, liaising with the Senior Administration/Finance Officer and the Administration Officer to deliver comprehensive support to the HIVE Team.
- Handle queries from internal and external stakeholders including school staff, social workers, parents, carers, NHS staff and others.
- Maintain management systems such as Systm One, Arbor, EMS and LCS.
- Contribute to meeting performance targets and support the finance officer with financial processing activities.
- Prepare word, data processing and IT‑based tasks and take minutes at meetings.
- Support the Senior Administration Officer in developing systems and procedures specific to the HIVE Team.
- Assist the Senior Administration Officer in planning, developing, organising and monitoring support systems within the service area.
- High level of organisational and communication skills.
- Desirable knowledge of relevant systems, although full training will be provided.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and build effective relationships with flexibility in approach.
