Counter Sales (Monday–Friday)Position:
Counter Sales, Monday through Friday job duties include handling customer interactions and sales at the counter.
- Provide customer service that is friendly, helpful, fast, and accurate.
- Process customer payments, returns, and credits.
- Suggest, promote, sell, and upsell products to increase sales volume.
- Present yourself in a professional manner at all times.
- Inform and explain ongoing and upcoming special promotions, programs, and spiffs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines, purchasing notes, flyers, trade magazines.
- Provide post-sale customer support, including follow-ups, troubleshooting, invoice concerns, etc.
- Develop pricing quotes by researching items and delivery dates, contacting reps, consulting catalogs, and other literature.
- Keep counter displays stocked and neat, product rotated, and maintain lobby food and beverage machines.
- Customer order support as needed, such as: will call, cash window, and order pulling.
- Warehouse support as needed, such as: receiving, stocking, shipping, inventory, etc.
- Attend training opportunities at various company branches.
- Follow all relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Other duties as assigned.

- Willing to go above and beyond to be helpful.
- Previous Sales Experience Preferred
- Previous HVAC, plumbing, electrical products knowledge preferred.
- Ability to multi-task on a computer.
- Be able to pass drug test and background screening.
