Overview

Shift Manager in Training at McDonald’s – responsible for leading shifts, ensuring quality service, and guiding crew and managers during operations.

• Plan each shift and monitor performance throughout the shift.
• Ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards for food safety, quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Monitor safety, security, and profitability.
• Communicate with other Shift Managers and crew; motivate, delegate, and coach the team.
• Complete assigned cleanliness and maintenance tasks.
• Lead the experience by overseeing crew and managers during the shift.
• Support training, education, and continuous learning within the restaurant.

• Previous managerial experience, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Strong customer‑service focus and ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to provide solutions and make decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Passion for helping and serving others, both customers and team members.
