Overview
Shift Manager in Training at McDonald’s – responsible for leading shifts, ensuring quality service, and guiding crew and managers during operations.
Responsibilities- Plan each shift and monitor performance throughout the shift.
- Ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards for food safety, quality, service, and cleanliness.
- Monitor safety, security, and profitability.
- Communicate with other Shift Managers and crew; motivate, delegate, and coach the team.
- Complete assigned cleanliness and maintenance tasks.
- Lead the experience by overseeing crew and managers during the shift.
- Support training, education, and continuous learning within the restaurant.
- Previous managerial experience, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Strong customer‑service focus and ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to provide solutions and make decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
- Passion for helping and serving others, both customers and team members.
