Food Prep Person

Our franchise organization, Corral Holdings dba Golden Corral, is currently seeking energetic, friendly individuals to join our team!

The quality, quantity, freshness, tastiness, and presentation of our products significantly impact guests' perceptions of Golden Corral. The Food Prep Person is responsible for preparing (cutting, slicing, peeling, etc.) all fresh fruits and vegetables used in Golden Corral. The freshness of our Cold Choice Buffet reflects our commitment to high-quality, fresh food.

Operational Excellence:

• Prepares prep items according to Golden Corral product specifications and recipes.
• Maintains inventory of prep items following the Prep Production Guide and updates as directed by management.
• Ensures maximum yield of products through proper product cycle management.
• Labels, dates, and rotates all bulk produce and prepped items.
• Stores all food items in approved, covered containers.
• Follows the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life compliance.
• Reports discrepancies such as spoilage, invoice errors, waste, or non-compliance to management.
• Assists in maintaining a clean and full buffet area.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the prep area, including coolers, equipment, and storage.
• Follows duty roster and ensures standards in cleanliness, service, and quality are met.
• Adheres to just-in-time delivery responsibilities.
• Complies with local health department laws.

Guest Service:

• Performs administrative tasks and assists guests during meal periods.
