Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) will provide comprehensive care to patients with a high level of acuity. Responsibilities include caring for patients requiring ECMO, heart transplants, and CABG surgery recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for ventilated patients and post-CABG care.
• Monitor hemodynamic status of critically ill patients.
• Complete bedside shift reports with updates to white board.
• Adhere to scheduling requirements including every other weekend.

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN License;
  Temp licenses not accepted.
• 2+ years of ICU experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring, ventilated patients, and Meditech preferred.
• CVICU experience preferred.
