• Implement and optimize control algorithms for robot locomotion
• Support development of behaviors that enable robots to traverse diverse terrain
• Contribute to methods that integrate stability, locomotion, and manipulation tasks
• Help create dynamics models and simulations that enable sim2real transfer of algorithms
• Collaborate effectively with multi‑disciplinary teams on hardware and algorithms for loco‑manipulation

• PhD, or Master’s degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience
• Foundation in robot dynamics and control theory
• Experience with model‑predictive control and reinforcement learning for locomotion
• Experience with simulation environments such as Isaac Lab, Mujoco, Drake, etc.
• Experience with developing and deploying code for real‑time controllers
• Experience with Java, C++, or other programming languages
• Experience working effectively across cross‑functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization
• PhD in Robotics with a focus on locomotion
• Experience with low‑level joint torque/impedance control
• Experience with robotics frameworks for fast prototyping (Matlab, ROS, etc.)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
