Opportunity OverviewWe are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Mechanical Quality Engineering team in North Reading, MA. This team ensures the quality of hardware across our flagship platforms by improving design efficiency and reducing errors.
- Lead quality initiatives across mechanical and electro-mechanical subsystems
- Develop and maintain standards for design processes, documentation, and testing
- Collaborate with Design, NPI, and Supply Line teams to ensure quality compliance
- Build and execute design verification testing, including fixture development
- Support education and training on quality processes and workmanship standards
- Partner with global teams to investigate and test engineering designs

- BS in Mechanical Engineering (advanced degree preferred)
- 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience in fast-paced environments
- Proficiency in Solid Works, GD&T, FEA, and tolerance analysis
- Experience with electro-mechanical packaging (sheet metal, plastics, cabling)
- Knowledge of DFM/DFA, QA principles, and design verification testing
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and team-oriented with hands-on approach
- Experience with RCA methods (8D, 5W, A3) and CAPA documentation
- Lean Six Sigma certification and FMEA experience preferred

CompensationThe base salary range for this role is $,000. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
Incentive PlanThis job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
