Clinical Dietitian – Full Time
Location: Our Lady of Fatima Medical Center, North Providence, RI
Schedule: Full time, rotating weekends
We are seeking a registered dietitian to lead clinical nutrition therapy in a busy acute care setting. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, patient‑focused professional who can serve patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical nutrition therapy, including nutrition assessment, diet modification, education, and intervention for the patient population.
- Follow all company diet manual and clinical nutrition policies & procedures.
- Adhere to all regulatory standards, facility confidentiality, HIPAA, and patient rights policies.
- Train and mentor patient services staff and interns as applicable.
- Participate in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide quality assurance & performance improvement programs.
- Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board where required.
- One (1) year of hospital experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, electronic medical records, diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming.
