Overview
MRI Tech, Registered
Up to $15,000 sign on bonus!
Summary:
Under the direction of the Lead MRI Technologist and the radiologists, the Staff MRI technologist performs a variety of technical procedures applying a prescribed magnetic field to obtain high quality images for interpretation by a radiologist. Fulfills responsibilities as an employee of St. Joseph Hospital Services of Rhode Island. Demonstrates clinical expertise/competencies per specialty and/or developmental level.
- Perform a variety of MRI procedures as directed, applying prescribed magnetic fields to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Collaborate with radiologists and the Lead MRI Technologist to ensure image quality and protocol adherence.
- Maintain clinical competencies and professional development per specialty and developmental level.
- Education:
High school diploma plus satisfactory completion of formal training in an approved school of Radiological Technology. - Licensure/Certification: ARRT certified with Registry in MRI; licensed by the State of Rhode Island. CPR Certification required.
- Experience:
One year of experience in MRI.
