The Licensed Practical Nursing staff are specifically trained individuals who demonstrate expertise in caring for cancer patients during all aspects of care.

• Always maintain a professional manner with patients, physicians, staff, and the general public while in the work environment.
• Provide direct nursing care for identified patients.
• Perform nursing assessments and triage for new and current patients as instructed.
• Provide education to patients with verbal instruction and printed materials.
• Schedule surgical procedures at facilities.
• Assist surgeon with minor office procedures including set-up, specimen collection, and coordinating pickup.
• Identify patients and ensure appropriate patient charts are utilized.
• Observe first signs of any complications and report to physician and document the report.
• Provide patient care and comfort needed for procedures.
• Deliver clear and concise instructions appropriate to the level of comprehension of the patient.
• Assist surgeon with callback of results and address any concerns from patient.
• Be familiar with OSHA.

• Arrive as scheduled and can be relied on to complete assigned tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
• Able to direct questions to the proper people at the appropriate time.
• Accepts responsibility for actions and is willing to lend assistance where needed.
• Exhibits good follow-through on given tasks.

• Current LPN license in good standing.
• 1-3 years proven experience in a related field.
• Be an active part of the center's team.

• Must properly control the release of proprietary and confidential information.

Salary: $31.53-$52.24 per hour
