A leading financial institution is seeking a seasoned professional to join its Public Finance team as a Senior Vice President. This executive-level role involves managing client relationships, overseeing deal execution, and leading a team of finance professionals focused on public sector investment banking solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Client Relationship Management:
Build and sustain strong relationships with public sector entities, including municipalities, government agencies, and non-profits. - Regional Coverage:
Focus on clients located in New York, Texas, California, and Southeast. - Strategic Advisory:
Provide expert guidance on capital raising, debt structuring, and financial transactions. - Transaction Execution:
Lead the execution and origination of public finance deals such as bond issuance's, refinancing, and other funding mechanisms. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams across capital markets, derivatives, and asset-backed finance to deliver comprehensive solutions. - Market Intelligence:
Analyze market trends to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions. - Team Leadership:
Mentor junior bankers and analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. - Regulatory Oversight:
Ensure all activities are compliant with applicable regulations and internal policies.
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline; advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) are preferred. - Skills:
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership capabilities; proficiency in financial modeling and market analysis. - Licensing:
Series 63 and 52 licenses are preferred.
- Deep understanding of municipal finance and public sector funding.
- Demonstrated success in client relationship management.
- Proven leadership and team development experience.
- Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
