Overview

A leading financial institution is seeking a seasoned professional to join its Public Finance team as a Senior Vice President. This executive-level role involves managing client relationships, overseeing deal execution, and leading a team of finance professionals focused on public sector investment banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management:
    Build and sustain strong relationships with public sector entities, including municipalities, government agencies, and non-profits.
  • Regional Coverage:
    Focus on clients located in New York, Texas, California, and Southeast.
  • Strategic Advisory:
    Provide expert guidance on capital raising, debt structuring, and financial transactions.
  • Transaction Execution:
    Lead the execution and origination of public finance deals such as bond issuance's, refinancing, and other funding mechanisms.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Work closely with internal teams across capital markets, derivatives, and asset-backed finance to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Market Intelligence:
    Analyze market trends to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
  • Team Leadership:
    Mentor junior bankers and analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Regulatory Oversight:
    Ensure all activities are compliant with applicable regulations and internal policies.
Candidate Profile
  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline; advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) are preferred.
  • Skills:

    Strong analytical, communication, and leadership capabilities; proficiency in financial modeling and market analysis.
  • Licensing:
    Series 63 and 52 licenses are preferred.
