Reports to: Inventory Manager / General Manager
Pay Rate: $17 to $22 per hour
Job DescriptionGood Karma Dispensary is seeking an Inventory Lead who is organized, proactive, and detail-oriented to oversee and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our cannabis product inventory. You will play a key role in maintaining proper stock levels, supporting audit processes, and ensuring compliance with state and company regulations.
The ideal candidate has experience in inventory control, team leadership, and a solid understanding of cannabis dispensary operations or retail management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead inventory control efforts, including regular counts, cycle audits, and accurate product reconciliation.
- Maintain clear and accurate inventory records using POS and stock management systems.
- Collaborate with the inventory team on receiving, organizing, storing, and disposing of products.
- Ensure that products are properly labeled, displayed, and available on the sales floor.
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies or irregularities to the Inventory Manager.
- Support and supervise staff in standard operating procedures for inventory.
- Ensure compliance with local and state cannabis regulations related to product and inventory management.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further studies in logistics, management, or retail are a plus.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in inventory control, supervision, or a similar role, preferably in cannabis dispensaries or high-volume retail.
Competencies:
- Practical knowledge of POS systems and inventory management software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lead teams, delegate tasks, and foster a positive work environment.
- Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Basic knowledge of cannabis state regulations and inventory compliance.
