Senior Level GIS Analyst

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Juno Beach, FL that is seeking a Senior Level GIS Analyst.

Summary:

Senior Analysts are tasked with supporting or leading GIS efforts for specific active/planned projects and supporting business goals and initiatives. The role of a Senior Analyst is to accurately translate business requirements into technical deliverables using the Next Era Energy Geospatial Platform and ESRI products. Responsibilities include web application development, complex mapping, transmission routing, and data management tasks. Senior Analysts should be comfortable coordinating with consultants/external vendors, and also providing GIS support.

For instance, this role may act as a GIS Project Manager for their specific project, providing support for initiatives including RFP/Bid and awarded projects.

• Lead support of assigned projects as the main point of contact for developers, attending all project meetings as the GIS SME, collaborating with other business units to determine needed deliverables, and communicating effectively with the Principal Analyst about all projects
• Create and maintain all project related web applications, project data, and project folders
• Lead routing efforts on projects by coordinating with developers and any external consultants performing routing studies
• Set up Field Maps as needed
• Effective coordination with consultants, by providing the approved data schemas and setting up collaboration locations in AGOL

• 5-6 years of experience
• To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
• Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
