Position Specific Description

Drive the future of energy infrastructure for data centers powering AI. This high-impact role has executive exposure and puts you at the center of Next Era's strategic growth in the AI market, supporting transformative energy projects that will power giga-watt scale energy centers.

• Execute multi-billion dollar transactions including M&A, joint ventures, and development projects
• Support senior leadership with strategic recommendations and detailed project analysis
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across development, finance, and operations teams

Requirements:

• Looking for a motivated professional with 3-5 years of consulting, banking or finance experience with a strong passion for the energy industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with high ownership mentality
• Excellent communication skills with ability to influence across all organizational levels
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (financial modeling) and PowerPoint (executive presentations)
• MBA preferred

• Manages all aspects of the day to day transaction process to ensure timely completion as well as a cost effective and competitive results
• Leads and coordinates key functions such as financial feasibility analyses, engineering/design, project legal review, permitting activities and financial negotiations
• Coordinates due diligence activities with other internal groups to ensure proper analysis and structuring of assigned projects
• Acts as liaison between internal and external specialists regarding procurement, contracting, permitting and interconnection
• Constructs contractual arrangements for project development
• Negotiates agreements with consultants and subcontractors
• Ensures compliance with applicable technical and regulatory requirements
• Fosters external relationships with customers, third parties and members of the community
• Identifies opportunities and negotiates power sales contracts
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
