RN School-Based - Permanent Float

RN School-Based Permanent Substitute Float (MUST be willing to drive UP to 35 miles to cover a school)

PSI is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to support Public, Private, and Charter Schools in the Cleveland Area as a Permanent Substitute Float. This is a fantastic opportunity to impact children's health and well-being while enjoying a flexible work schedule!

  • Flexible Scheduling:
    Choose to work 2 to 5 days a week based on your availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care and support to students in various school settings.
  • Assess student health needs and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students.
  • Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

What We're Looking For:

  • Current RN license through the Ohio Board of Nursing (required).
  • Knowledge of communicable disease prevention and medication protocols.
  • Preference for school-based or pediatric experience (preferred).
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach - Must work effectively with staff, parents, and students.
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
  • Current CPR certification and the ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - Ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA laws and the ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
