Italian Ice Cart Attendant; Seasonal

Overview

Under general supervision, performs customer service work in the concessions operations on the beach and Beach Services warehouse facility. Work involves working closely with the Concession Manager and selling concessions on the beach. Work as backup for Beach Rental Attendant as needed. Reports to the Concession Manager.

• Perform customer service and concession sale tasks on the beach.
• Collaborate with the Concession Manager and provide backup support for Beach Rental Attendant as needed.
• Assist with operations in the Beach Services warehouse facility as required.

• Entry level position.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Experience in a customer service related field preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation to get from Beach Services warehouse to the beach.
• Eligible for Tips & Commission

Tasks involve the ability to exert moderate, though not constant, physical effort, typically involving some combination of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting or carrying objects up to 40 pounds, and pushing and/or pulling of wheeled beach carts and materials weighing up to 150 pounds. Ability to work in extreme weather conditions on the oceanfront.
