As Part-Time
Advanced
Warehouse Associate you will support daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping materials. This role may include the optional use of mobile equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, or reach trucks for qualified individuals. You will be responsible for ensuring proper transactions are completed timely and inventory tracking is accurate using scan guns while at the same time.

  - days, nights, or weekends
  -based on current staffing needs. This is a great opportunity for those seeking flexible, gig-style, or part time income in a fast-paced supportive environment.
• You are required to work at least 20 hours per pay period (weeks) in 5-hour blocks, with a maximum of 30 hours per pay period.
liNo need to ask for days off - you build your own schedule within the guidelines noted above.
• This is a part time temporary Caterpillar position intended to support the full-time production workforce.

• Be committed to working safely all day every day
• Work as a team to help ensure parts and components are available when needed to build our machines

• Previous work experience in logistics operations
• Experience operating multiple types of mobile equipment
  • Reach truck
  • Forklift
  • Order picker
• Experience with scan gun technology
• Willingness and ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
• Willingness to walk for extended prolonged periods
• Willingness and ability to adapt to various operations
• Willingness and ability to lift to 35 lbs.

Top Candidates will also have:

• Experience operating overhead crane & lifting devices
• Experience in SAP
• Drive to work independently without direction

• Constantly stands on concrete floors while retrieving parts/tools and completing tasks at assigned workstation. Walks on concrete floors while retrieving parts/tools from distances of a few feet to approximately 80 feet; frequently to constantly throughout the shift.
• May rotate and bend at the waist while reaching into storage bins and positioning body in front of the machine/part on an occasional basis.
• Reaches with hands/arms in any direction from approximately 3 inches off the floor to overhead range on a frequent basis in any direction. On an occasional basis, the employee may need to hold in a static position with sustained reaching to the waist to head range while…
