The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks across various systems and equipment in a warehouse and industrial setting. Key Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and adjustments on refrigeration systems, doors, dock levelers, pallet racks, sweepers, forklifts, pallet trucks, and electrical systems in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Inspect material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to ensure operational safety and compliance.
- Test, maintain, and evaluate equipment performance using diagnostic instruments such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and pressure gauges.
- Maintain detailed preventive maintenance records and complete all assigned work orders through the company's computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) daily.
- Assist with facility improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and general upkeep of the warehouse.
- Follow all safety and environmental guidelines, ensuring a clean and hazard-free work environment.
- Be flexible to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends, and be available for on-call assignments when necessary.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in industrial maintenance or related technical fields.
- Knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems, especially ammonia central systems, preferred.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities with experience using diagnostic tools like multimeters.
- Familiarity with forklift maintenance, warehouse operations, and basic HVAC or plumbing repairs a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
