Summary
A Relief Shift Leader (RSL) is a state‑credentialed position of advanced security experience that has proven an advanced knowledge of BH rules, regulations, and procedures as they pertain to the security department. An RSL performs security duties to include: protection of guests, patients and staff, their property and company assets. An RSL can perform all duties assigned to an SOI, SOII, or SOIII, or FTO.
An RSL is expected to respond to all types of emergency alarms in accordance with BH policies and procedures, often working with law enforcement during the execution of duties. Additionally, an RSL is expected be called upon to run shift as a Shift Leader (SL) when the SL is not present. An RSL is to work with the SL to ensure that all subordinate staff members complete mandatory training in a timely manner and receive TB and flu shots in accordance with BH regulations.
Additional shift duties include: scheduling, processing PTO requests, and other administrative duties such as completion of disciplinary documentation.
This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi‑weekly.
