Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in North Little Rock, AR
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security‑related incidents, and respond to alarms and service calls. This is an armed and driving post, supporting coverage across the property while providing clear communication and customer service to staff and visitors.

Job Schedule- Thursday: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Friday: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Saturday: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
- Sunday: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM

- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, office spaces, parking lots, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Control access for employees, visitors, and vendors by verifying identification, managing sign-in processes, and monitoring inbound and outbound traffic at gates and dock areas.
- Complete detailed reports and logs such as patrol activity, incidents, and shift handoff notes, and communicate observations to Allied Universal management and client representatives.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Have 4+ years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
