As a PLC Controls Maintenance Specialist,

you will utilize your expertise in PLC and robotic equipment to perform routine ladder‑logic updates, troubleshooting and maintenance of automation systems, and supporting integration of equipment across platforms within the manufacturing setting.

    • 1st shift:
      Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 3 p.m
    • 2nd shift:
      Monday – Friday , 3 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Your Role Day to Day:

As a PLC Controls Maintenance Specialist, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production manufacturing and material-handling equipment in the production facilities building(s), in accordance with work orders and technical documentation as assigned in a timely manner. You will be familiar with PM procedures, including performing PMs, logging completion, etc.as well as the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), System Control Software (SCS), scanners, etc.

Able to recommend and implement corrective action and overall be familiar with PLC logic principles.

What you will have (Basic Requirements):
  • 2 years’ minimum experience in industrial PLC controls maintenance in a manufacturing facility or cumulative industrial setting
  • Expertise in automation on Allen Bradley, ABB, CLOOS, Lincoln equipment, as well as other automation products within the facility
  • Prior experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Industrial electrical / electronic production and material-handling equipment
Top Candidates Will Also Have (Preferred Requirements):
  • Prior experience within a Caterpillar facility
  • Experience utilizing Device Net protocols
  • Familiar with PLC ladder logic principles
  • Prior work experience in a heavy equipment production facility, or comparable automated production plant / facility

Summary Pay Range:

$29.25 - $37.00
