Experienced Body Shop Technician

Body Shop Technician - Repair or replace damaged body parts back to pre‑accident condition using factory and dealership specifications. The aim is an invisible, factory‑quality repair.

• Review repair orders, work orders and estimator’s notes to identify needed repairs.
• Ensure all repairs follow the documentation on the repair order or supplement.
• Apply knowledge of manufacturers’ technical repair processes.
• Use frame and measuring equipment per vendor procedures.
• Perform initial teardown of the vehicle.
• Identify parts for cut‑in and edging.
• Follow factory specifications and company policy (ICAR Standard) during all repair procedures.
• Perform and sign off on quality checks before sending the vehicle to the paint department.
• Re‑assemble painted vehicle and parts.
• Conduct a final quality review before moving the vehicle to the detail department.
• Mentor apprentice or lower‑skill technicians to develop repair skills.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three years of body shop experience.
• ICAR Welding Certificate.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.

Minimum Pay Rate: USD $25.00/hr.
Maximum Pay Rate: USD $38.00/hr.
