- Computer literate and proficient in clinical documentation
- Basic internet navigation skills
- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant state license
Provide physical therapy and related services for patients under the direction of a licensed PT, maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients in line with physical therapy principles and Reliant guidelines. Provide ongoing treatment per a plan of care, supervise rehab techs (where required), and handle case management responsibilities. Represent Reliant’s commitment to quality and service in all client interactions. Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding physical therapy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Under PT direction, optimize patients' functional abilities and skills.
- Build and sustain a strong physical therapy program.
- Enhance clinical expertise, professional, and management skills through interactions with managers, therapists, other staff, and continuing education activities.
- Maintain a valid state license and stay current with the profession and healthcare environment.
- Understand various payment models, billing guidelines, and appropriate delivery methods. Provide quality care within guidelines.
- Comply with infection control procedures and environmental safety protocols.
- Read, write, speak, and comprehend English for instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports.
