The University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College in North Little Rock, Arkansas, is accepting applications for a substitute faculty position in Cosmetology located at the Little Rock South Campus. This position requires a commitment to teaching in a dynamic community college setting and the ability to successfully interact with and respond to the broad-ranging needs of an academically and culturally diverse campus.

• Possess a thorough knowledge of the teaching field and commitment to high academic standards
• Commit to program building, student retention, student success, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Teaching assignments may include a variety of interdisciplinary courses in Cosmetology
• Assigned times will vary with demand
• Maintain active participation in non‑instructional campus responsibilities such as college and departmental initiatives, committee work, student record keeping, curriculum planning, assessment of student learning, and professional development

• Cosmetology Instructor License

• One year of cosmetology teaching experience in a two‑year college
• Two years of salon industry experience
• Knowledge of Arkansas Department of Health Cosmetology Laws and Regulations

This position pays $25 per hour.
