• Perform cleanings of teeth and gums
• Take necessary x‑rays and intra‑oral pictures
• Complete periodontal charting
• Address patient hygiene and restorative needs
• Educate patient on treatment recommendations from the doctor
• Document findings in the Practice Management software
• Clean/sterilize treatment room after each appointment
• Reappoint patients emphasizing value and urgency for the next appointment and update the Practice Management Software
• Provide an effective 2‑and‑1 handoff to doctor and appropriate admin team
• Prepare, attend, and contribute to Straine Management System (SMS) meetings
• Achieve individual daily hygiene production goal
• Maintain proper knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliances and clinical skills
• Make calls to patients due and not scheduled in hygiene as open times occur
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Registered Dental Hygienist License
• N2O Certification
• Local Anesthesia License
• Perio driven
