Position: Site Manager - The Vale Academy
Location: Brigg

The Vale Academy are looking to appoint a Site Manager to join our academy in March 2026 on a full time, permanent basis.

Your new role

As the Site Manager, you will play a lead role in ensuring the academy has a safe, warm, clean and welcoming environment for all who work in, learn at and visit the academy. You will manage the site staff, using your initiative, working flexibly in your approach with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. You will manage the Health & Safety system for the academy ensuring that all tests and maintenance schedules are carried out and recorded efficiently.

You will ensure the security and safekeeping of the academy premises, facilities and property including having key holder responsibility.

Salary:
Grade F Points 14 to 19 (£29,540 to £32,061)

Hours:

37 hours per week / All Year Round / Permanent

Your new school

The Vale is a successful and high achieving 11 to 18 academy which has an excellent reputation and an established trend of high student outcomes, which are consistently above those achieved nationally. Indeed, 2023 outcomes placed the academy second in the local authority for overall progress which was "above" national average at +0.32 and its attainment at 4+ and 5+ in both English and Maths was 74% and 50% respectively.

Provisional results for 2024 see this trend continuing with students’ performance in English and Maths being significantly above national averages with 65% of students achieving a 5+ in both English and Mathematics.

The academy is situated in Brigg, North Lincolnshire and serves a largely rural community. Brigg itself is a historic market town on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Many of our students travel a considerable distance to school.
