Front-of-House Shift Lead – Field Day Brewing Co. – North Liberty, IA
Field Day Brewing Co., the first and only brewery in North Liberty
, is looking for a part-time or full-time Front-of-House Shift Lead to join our team. If you love craft beer, great food, and creating memorable guest experiences, this is the role for you!
As a FOH Shift Lead, you’ll ensure every guest has an outstanding experience, guide and support team members, and keep the front-of-house running smoothly
. You’ll work closely with FOH and BOH staff to provide accurate, timely service in a fast-paced, friendly environment.
About Field Day Brewing Co.: We brew bold, creative, and world-class beers—from hazy IPAs and rich stouts to fruited sours and perfectly crisp German and Czech lagers. Our full-service menu is crafted on-site, making Field Day the perfect place for guests to relax, enjoy great food, and savor exceptional beer.
Pay: $20 per hour and up, based on experience
Schedule: This is a full- or part-time role with a mix of FOH Lead shifts and bartending/serving shifts
. You’ll lead a few shifts each week while also supporting the floor. Weekend availability is required.

- Maintain and improve team performance
- Manage staffing and scheduling adjustments
- Maintain beer and menu knowledge
- Conduct table check-ins and resolve conflicts
- Foster a positive atmosphere for team and guests
- Coach and develop FOH team members to achieve excellence
- Assist with scheduling and staffing, managing time-off requests, and cross-referencing local events
- Conduct pre-shift rallies
- Support AGM & GM with training, continuing education, and employee development
- Maintain FOH appearance and ensure cleanliness and safety
- Complete daily cash and safe balance reports
- Assist with inventory management
- Engage with guests through 100% table touches
- Serve or bartend as needed
- Support revenue growth initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Demonstrate reliability and adhere to Field Day Handbook policies
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Maintain open communication with management and team members
- Maintain a professional appearance and presentation
- At least 2 years of relevant restaurant experience
- 21 years of age or older
- Able to pass Iowa Alcohol Compliance Training
- Ability to stand/walk for prolonged periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Positive, energetic, and professional team player
