CCCN is seeking a full‑time Charge Registered Nurse at our Medical District clinic in Las Vegas, Nevada.
ScopeProvides leadership and support for nursing and clinical staff, ensuring professional nursing care that adheres to national and company standards. Assists the nursing manager in supervising and coordinating activities related to nursing functions and serves as a resource to clinical personnel.

- Assist in overseeing clinical operations for nursing support activities as directed by the nursing manager.
- Assist in providing staff training and in‑service instruction.
- Assist in determining staffing requirements and maintaining effective nursing coverage within budgetary guidelines.
- Participate in interviewing and recruiting nursing personnel.
- Assist with review and revision of clinical policies and procedures.
- Assist in verifying correct coding and charge capture.
- Assist in annual performance evaluations of nursing and clinical staff.
- Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote continuity of care consistent with established standards and practices.
- Provide patient assessment and education:
- Assess health status by interviewing patient regarding current status and medical history.
- Collect and record nursing assessment and interventions.
- Review and report results of physical examinations, laboratory, radiographic, and psychosocial assessments to providers.
- Provide teaching and instructional material to patients/families.
- Offer psychosocial support to patients and families.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Administer therapies under physician direction:
- Give medications/blood products using correct dosage, route, time, and technique.
- Ensure pre‑authorization and appropriate consent forms are obtained before therapy administration.
- Facilitate dose modifications by consulting protocols, assessing labs, and consulting physicians.
- Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain central line devices.
- Document accurately all patient care and treatments.
- Apply knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture.
- Maintain the work environment:
- Restock supply area as needed.
- Follow OSHA guidelines for cytotoxic agents, biohazardous waste, and other blood‑borne pathogens.
- Maintain all disinfection protocols.
- Maintain equipment per quality control standards.
- Facilitate clinical operations and patient care:
- Manage medication refill requests via the pharmacy line and record information in the patient chart.
- Assist physicians with exams and procedures.
- Maintain efficient patient flow in and out of exam rooms.
- Facilitate and schedule consultations, pre‑testing, diagnostic tests, referrals, and future appointments.
- Triage patient phone calls as needed and document relevant information.
- Coordinate communications between patient/family and interdisciplinary team regarding patient care services.
- Assist patients in locating community resources.
- Interprofessional collaboration:
- Assist and collaborate with clinical research.
- Act as a resource to LPN/LVNs and medical assistants.
- Provide nursing coverage for satellite offices as needed.
- Serve as mentor/preceptor, offering daily guidance to less experienced nurses.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
