Sr. Mechanical Engineer – Overview
We need an engineering resource with mechanical engineering experience, as well as general experience in building systems/equipment, fire protection, and utilities.
Responsibilities- Develop functional requirements documents (FRDs) and/or Project Requirements Specifications (PRS) for building, utility, equipment and infrastructure projects, including project/task breakdowns, identification of functional and non-functional requirements, and developing conceptual visualizations and illustrations of layouts, site plans, and other perspective views.
- FRD/PRS development includes working with integrated projects teams (IPTs) and stakeholders to capture input, research, use of existing templates and previous projects, perform FRD/PRS reviews and comment resolution, and finalize the document.
- Education and Experience:
Engineer III - BS with 10 years of experience;
Engineer IV - BS with 15 years of experience - PE Certification will substitute for 4 years of experience
- An advanced degree will substitute for 3 years of experience
- Local is preferred. Remote possible with monthly trip to the site in N. Las Vegas in accordance to the travel policy.
