Senior Quantity Surveyor

Role Overview

• Commercial management of multiple refurbishment projects across the power sector
• Full NEC contract administration (including cost control, compensation events, and forecasting)
• Cost planning, budgeting, and reporting across allocated projects
• Managing subcontractor procurement, payments, and commercial performance
• Preparing and agreeing valuations, final accounts, and cost forecasts
• Supporting project teams with commercial advice and risk management
• Working collaboratively with clients and internal stakeholders
• Ensuring commercial governance and reporting standards are met

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor (or strong Quantity Surveyor ready to step up)
• Experience working under NEC contracts
• Background in main contracting within construction or infrastructure
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Strong commercial awareness and contract management skills
• Experience with in power, utilities, MEP, or electrical infrastructure would be beneficial but is not essential
• Candidates from a wider construction background with the right attitude, values, and work ethic are strongly encouraged to apply
