Evening and Weekend Pet Sitter​/Dog Walker

Overview

Furry Fellas Pet Service LLC is hiring for an Experienced Pet Care Professional for pet sitting and dog walking. We are looking for someone who can be available as needed in the evenings and weekends and is local to East Greenwich / North Kingstown, RI. We are also hiring for a separate daytime position.

• You love dogs and/or cats, enjoy the outdoors (dog walking), and being active.
• You spend free time around dogs/cats/animals, or volunteer with them.
• You are experienced with dogs of various sizes and energy levels and/or with cats or other small animals.
• You have reliable transportation, own a smartphone, can work well independently, and have good communication/customer service skills.
• You enjoy learning and want to be part of something bigger, making a daily difference in others’ lives. You are seeking part-time work or supplemental income.

Furry Fellas Pet Service LLC has been in business since 2006. Our services include dog walking, pet sitting (dogs, cats, and other small animals), and overnight pet sitting. • Evenings and weekends as needed. Position starts part-time and will gradually book up.

• Visit clients’ homes to care for their companions while they are at work or on vacation
• Walk or exercise dogs, provide love and attention, and let out for bathroom breaks; may include feeding, medicating, providing fresh water, and cleaning up after animals
• Leave a note for clients after each visit to update them on how the visits went

Hourly pay: $16–$18 depending on experience, plus mileage and tips. There is also a per-visit pay option.
