Position: Supply Chain Administrator / Expeditor (Contract, Temporary)
What You’ll Be Doing as a Temporary Supply Chain Administrator / Expeditor

* Supporting all aspects of workflow within the Raw Material Purchasing operation

* Expediting information and deliveries with multiple approved suppliers to ensure performance meets business metrics

* Raising Purchase Orders to support operational requirements

* Liaising with suppliers regularly to ensure performance aligns with NMB expectations

* Maintaining accurate information relating to:

* Material suppliers

* Overall vendor performance

* Communicating updates clearly to internal and external stakeholders

* Representing the Purchasing function at meetings when required

* Working within budgetary requirements

* Proactively identifying when schedules go off-track and helping implement corrective action plans

Supplier Performance, Expediting & Replenishment Duties

* Monitoring and reporting on supplier capabilities

* Expediting purchase orders to ensure deliveries meet manufacturing requirements

* Contacting suppliers to resolve:

* Possible shortages

* Missed or late deliveries

* Discrepancies and delivery issues

* Reviewing overdue orders and escalating significant delays

* Assisting with product replenishment—matching inventory levels to customer needs

What We’re Looking For Essential

* Supply Chain background preferred

* IT literate (ideally with an IT qualification)

* GCSE (or above) in English and Mathematics

* Polite but confident/forthright telephone manner

* Positive outlook with drive to achieve results

Desirable

* Full driving licence (preferable but not essential)

Hours of Work

* Day Shift

* Mon–Thu: 7:30am – 4:00pm

* Fri: 7:30am – 12:30pm

* Overtime available when required

* No shift premium
