TSR Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established and reputable main contractor based in Lincoln, with projects in Lincolnshire. This is an excellent permanent opportunity to be part of a leading, stable and reputable, regional main contractor with progression opportunities and a variety of projects. Forms of contract are largely JCT but can also be NEC, with values up to £20m.

This role has become available due to an influx of project wins and framework awards, giving a boost to the planned and targeted growth. Not only does this role offer variation and local projects, it also has commercial management potential, with a very real opportunity to lead the commercial team in a Commercial manager capacity in the future.

With an excellent trading history of over 50 years, multiple offices, financially stable and with many long serving members of staff, this contractor would be the ideal choice for a Surveyor or Senior Surveyor looking for an opportunity to move their career and experience forward.

• Commercially manage projects ensuring they are completed within budget
• Take off drawings to produce a bill of quantities
• Subcontract and supplier approval and procurement
• Visit site to ensure costs are on track and complete site measures / variation reports
• Produce cost value reports (CVR)
• Invoice reconciliation and approval for payment
• Produce final accounts

• Quantity Surveyor experience in mainstream construction
• Strong communication skills
• Good IT skills
• JCT and/or NEC forms of contract
• Organised and professional
• Relevant Degree or experience in similar role
