Heritage Oaks Hospital is part of the UHS Family of Providers and has been an integral part of the greater Sacramento and Northern California mental health system since 1988. Located in northern Sacramento, Heritage Oaks is a fully accredited, 125-bed acute psychiatric hospital offering tailored treatment services to adolescents, adults, and senior adults, including treatment for substance abuse and chemical dependency issues.

• Manage the day-to-day program services, consulting with the Director of Outpatient Services and the Program Director in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of the clinical services.
• Maintain awareness of current mental health activities in the community.
• Maintain awareness of community and market-related activities, including knowledge of other providers, needs of local payers, and the political climate related to mental health.

Education: Master s Degree in mental health/behavioral sciences field required or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

Experience: Minimum five (5) years experience in psychiatric/mental health field, with a minimum of three (3) years in a lead/managerial capacity preferred.

Licensure: Appropriate State Licensure/license eligible in field of expertise or registration with the California Board of Behavioral Science is required.

Additional Requirements: Handle with Care training within 90 days of employment and CPR
