Post Anesthesia Care Nurse (PACU RN) at North Haven Surgery Center, a division of United Surgical Partners International, Inc. The role involves providing continuity and quality nursing care for patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient and family needs for discharge.
Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
- Active RN license in the state (CT)
- Current BLS and ACLS required; PALS
- 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
- Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage
